Our Story
ITG Group was founded in Portland, Oregon in 2001 by John and Lauretta. John came out of the carrier world — he was a field tech pulling Frame Relay circuits for Pacific Northwest Bell and US West before founding ITG — which means he knows exactly how carriers think, how they price, and where the margin hides in a contract. Lauretta built the operations side from the ground up, and together they've run ITG as an independent, family-owned firm for more than two decades.
Some of our very first clients are still with us today. Bi-Mart was with John before ITG Group even existed — a relationship built over years of working on their circuits from the carrier side. When he founded ITG, they followed. Forty years and 79 stores later, that handshake has held — and produced over $2.1 million in documented savings and a Vendor of the Year award (one of only two ever issued in Bi-Mart's 62-year history).
